According to some experts, the total length of cave systems on the Yucatan Peninsula is about 2000 km. In early 2018, a team of researchers managed to connect two of the largest underwater cave systems in Mexico - Sac Actun and Dos Ojos in Tulum, Quintana Roo. This makes the Sac Actun system the largest in length in the world. About 347 km of interconnected tunnels, galleries, passages, and all this is near our dive center. Cave systems and cenotes continue to be explored and mapped in our time. Expeditions are being organized, and new artifacts are being found, but most cenotes are located in impenetrable jungles where there are no roads, and progress is possible only with a machete. All this requires a lot of effort, considerable financial investments, and great enthusiasm. Having qualified as a cave diver, you can become one of the researchers and visit places where a human foot may not have set foot yet.
Cave courses consist of three levels (courses). Three separate certificates are issued:
Diving in grottoes where daylight is visible.
Diving along the main running end into those parts of the cave where daylight no longer penetrates.
Diving into caves without restrictions.

Cave diving TDI

Purpose of the course — to teach the diver the correct technique of swimming in the overhead environment, and dive planning; the basics of working with the running end are laid.

Types of over-the-head environments
Special equipment, configuration and principles
of double safety
Skills of using the running coil, installation and removing the running end
Buoyancy control and management skills, control
for air consumption
Technique of swimming and movement in supra-head environments
Navigation, exit from the cave in the absence of visibility
Communication skills during cave diving
Analysis of emergency situations and the way out of them
After completing the course and successfully passing the exams, an international certificate of TDI Cavern Diver is issued. A certified cavern diver can plan and perform decompression-free dives into caverns to a depth of up to 40 m. The presence of initial cave training entitles a diver to enroll in the next Intro To Cave Diver cave diving course.
The price includes: Theory, four dives in an overhead environment, certificate.
Paid additionally: equipment rental, training materials.
The duration of the course is 2 days: 4 dives in an overhead environment.
Requirements for admission to the course:

Cavern diver TDI

Minimum age of 18 years (allowed from 15 years with the written permission of parents or guardian)
Minimum level of PADI AOWD training or the equivalent of other underwater associations
The presence of 20 and registered dives in the logbook
Good buoyancy skills
Prices
450 USD
Course content:
Purpose of the course — mastering the technical techniques necessary for diving into caves with a maximum depth of up to 40 m. In this course, the student learns to dive along the main running end into those parts of the cave where daylight no longer penetrates, until the first T-shaped intersection.

Limitations based on decompression-free dives
Equipment configuration and preparation ready to dive
Usage of the walkers, connecting to the running end
Working with personal markers and arrows
Body position during the dive, movement technique
Emergencies and the way out of them (search for a partner
in the cave in case of its loss, equipment breakdown,
water turbidity, etc.)
Navigation, signals
Protection of caves, preservation of their natural integrity
After completing the course and successfully passing the exams, an international certificate Intro To Cave Diver TDI is issued. A certified cave diver has the right to participate in independent decompression-free dives (with a partner, without an instructor) into the cave, using one main running end, to a depth of up to 40 meters. Certificate availability
Intro To Cave Diver entitles a diver to apply for a third-level Full Cave Diver course.
The price includes: theory, 4 dives in an overhead environment, certificate.
Paid additionally: equipment rental, training materials.
Duration of the course is 2-3 days: 4 dives in an overhead environment.
Requirements for admission to the course:

Intro To Cave Diver TDI

Course content:
Minimum age of 18 years (allowed from 15 years with the written permission of parents or guardian)
Minimum level of training Cavern Diver
The presence of 25 dives registered in the logbook.
Prices
650 USD
This is the third advanced level of cave diving. A course during which you will learn how to plan and perform dives into cave systems in various conditions that a diver may encounter.
The course consists of a theoretical and practical part.
Purpose of the course — expand and perfect the skills acquired at the Cavern Diver and Intro To Cave Diver
courses by diving into caves.

Cave diving techniques
Use of stages and stage cylinders during the dive
Independent planning of cave diving without restrictions
on the complexity
Selection of necessary equipment
The way out of emergency situations (loss of gas, loss of the walker, complete turbidity of the water, etc.)
Elements of complex navigation in the cave system: the connection of several running ends, etc.
A route in which the entrance and exit are in different places, circular routes, the passage of T-shaped intersections
Emergency situations at a great distance from the entrance (search for a lost walker, etc.)
After completing the course and successfully passing the exams, an international certificate of Full Cave diver TDI is issued. A certified Full Cave diver has the right to dive into caves with a partner for an unlimited distance and depth corresponding to the diver qualification.
The price includes: theory, 8 dives in an overhead
environment, certificate.
Paid additionally: equipment rental, training materials.
The duration of the course is 4-5 days: 8 dives in an overhead environment.
Requirements for admission to the course:

Full Cave Diver TDI
